Why is golf so frustrating?

Many players carry the "trouble" on one hole for the rest of the entire round! Using self-hypnosis techniques, you can erase negative shots during play (learning not to carry negative emotions tied to a bad drive, missed putt, shot out of bounds etc. to the next hole). The Mental Golf video is a Quick Fix for improvement.

What level player is the video designed to help?

Beginner, Amateur, Low Handicap, Touring Pro, Teaching Pro will benefit from this unusual golf video. Some non-golfers have enjoyed the relaxation techniques. Loved ones get a better idea about the game their friends/lovers/spouses hold so dear.

Will the video help me to prepare for a tournament?

Absolutely. This 50 minute video is your visit with your own psychologist for a one-time fee.

How many times do I need to watch the video?

With one viewing you will experience some benefits in your mental game. Many have said they enjoy the video often, looking at the self-hypnosis section to sharpen their performance before a round of golf...as a tune-up.

Will I play better if I wear a hat?

Crazy as it may seem, if you think you will, you increase the opportunity to play better by really getting into the notion and, perhaps even making it a part of your golf rituals. This is explained in the tape in a scene filmed in an actual pro shop.
Is Dr. LaTreill a good golfer herself? Most psychologists are not.

You Bet. She has the swing of a pro player. She doesn't play much golf, right now but is a 14 handicap. Ely Callaway placed her on his Callaway Test Panel of exceptional players after she hit a fabulous shot with his one iron, a club he says very few golfers can hit. She was standing in the same spot Paul Azinger stood when he filmed that commercial from the lofted tee box at Del Mar.

Is Dr. LaTreill a member of any national boards?

Yes. She is a member of the American Board of Hypnotherapy. She is certified and registered with the state of California. She is a member of the Psi Chi Honorary and the Chi Beta Phi National Scientific Honorary Fraternities. She was a merit scholar at East Carolina University, majoring in Psychology through Master Level. She has a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in Irvine, California.

Where does Dr. LaTreill live?

This native North Carolinian turned Californian is a tall attractive southern belle, whose beautiful home overlooks the green, fairway and lake of a gorgeous Pete Dye course in Wilmington. This location, with its golfers seeing endless frustration amid sand traps, grass bunkers and the pond, was her inspiration to do something to help all golfers enhance their mental games. She has divided her time away from NC between Newport Beach, California and Honolulu, Hawaii for more than 15 years.
