Dr. Donna LaTreill

About Mental Golf and Dr. Donna LaTreill

Mental Golf made its debut as the world's first sports video of its kind in 1994.

Since then, the film has helped thousands: pros in competitive golf, low handicap retirees who golf daily, besides beginners of all ages. There is no competing product in this field of subconscious training expertise that has its track record. It was futurology then as it is now. The highly unique DVD will always work as a tune-up for performance before every game.

Dr. LaTreill has the swing of a pro player. She isn't playing golf right now, but was a 14 handicap. She is one of the few sports psychologists who is also a golfer... with a passion for the game.

This native North Carolinian turned Californian is a tall attractive southern belle, whose beautiful home overlooks the green, fairway and lake of a gorgeous Pete Dye course in Wilmington. This location, with its golfers seeing endless frustration amid sand traps, grass bunkers and the pond, was her inspiration to do something to help all golfers enhance their mental games. She has divided her time away from NC between Newport Beach, California and Honolulu, Hawaii for more than 15 years.

Recommending Dr.  LaTreill:

She has been a positive influence on my mental/physical health. How lucky could I be to recommend her? But even more to be her friend.

She is a confident visionary with executive demeanor. Her clinical psychology/hypnotherapy led her to author/produce Mental Golf (and more), having developed a pro-swing with good playing techniques which all observers told her she really ought to pass along.

She has written, edited, marketed, created and sold for dozens of companies/some she owned. Her amazing accomplishments list would be very long indeed. She has helped a lot of people; making friends everywhere. For anyone she knows as down or ill, she makes it her business to help them back up.

She knew the “green pastures” of golf courses were good venues to help others lower anxiety as well as scores, to change lives and to represent her Savior Jesus Christ. Ely Callaway said it best when he said “no one has done what she did for golf with her video"…and “she hit some amazing shots with a new one iron I was testing…I always took her advice.”
